• Practice using the sling before you put your infant in, using a doll to get the "right feel."
• Get used to putting the sling on and off, and shortening and lengthening it.
• Keep the rings positioned as you would a corsage.
• If your baby looks uncomfortable reposition him/her.
• Keep your arms under the sling and baby until you feel more secure with it.
• Babies feel more secure with movement so as soon as you put your baby in for the first time, start walking!
• Don't worry if your baby doesn't love it the first time they use it--most don't like their first bath, but soon learn to love it.
• Above all, relax!

   An instructional video/DVD is available.  It explains in explicit detail how to wear your newborn to toddler in the sling.  It shows various tips and tricks to getting it on, and baby in perfectly, right from the start!  You may purchase this tape for $5.00 on a 30 day refundable basis.  Your deposit will be fully refunded when you return the tape, or you may keep it as your baby grows.
